Operation and Maintenance The operation and maintenance (O&M) was performed by BWSC Panamá S.A. until September 2006, who mobilized the O&M contract during the last months of plant construction. Thirty seven engineers, technicians and Panamanian supporting personnel, and two managers of BWSC Denmark make up the O&M organization. During the mobilization period, the O&M staff took part in specific training programs organized by BWSC, and in the preparation of the electrical power plant for the commercial operation. The training and the preparation of the plant focused specifically on security issues and the environmental requirements of Panama and the World Bank.
